Living in America: The Waiting List Is Full
A Shareformance made in Creative Expression Sessions at the library.
Wednesday, April 10th, 6:00-7:30pm
Pohlad Auditorium, Downtown Minneapolis Central Library
300 Nicollet Mall, 2nd Floor
zAmya’s spring Shareformance explores experiences with public housing and showcases original content created by participants of zAmya's Creative Expression Session workshops this winter and spring. With humor, history and humbling questions, Living in America asks “What is public housing? Why is public housing? And why is the waitlist full?”
Free and sliding-scale tickets will be available at the door, starting at 5:30pm. The performance runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission, and includes ASL interpretation. As a thank-you, we offer a $10 gift card to audience members bringing the lived experience of housing instability, while supplies last.
If you have questions or access needs please contact zAmya’s Administrative Coordinator, Katie Clower, at katie@zamyatheater.org.
Please do not attend if you feel sick; masks are encouraged for audience members.
