Renowned theatrical director Adrian Jackson, founder of Cardboard Citizens in London, is coming to the Twin Cities for a one-month artist residency with zAmya!
This May, we’re offering a unique, three-day training led by Jackson. We’ll use exercises and games designed to elicit stories, information and ideas that help us analyze and interrupt harm that our current systems of healthcare and housing reproduce. We’ll ask questions like, “Who has the power? How do we shift it?” Have fun while we imagine breaking free from the current unjust conditions!
The training is designed for anyone interested in the connection between health, care and homelessness. E.g., care-givers, mutual aid workers, harm reduction specialists, street cooks, activists, healthcare providers, and neighbors - both unhoused and housed.
Dates and times:
Friday, May 3rd l 6-9pm
Saturday, May 4th l 10:30am-6pm
Sunday, May 5th l 3-8pm
Location
The training will be held at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis. (1919 La Salle Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403)
