Book a zAmya Performance
zAmya performances use personal stories to illuminate systemic issues that lead to homelessness. Written from the perspective of those affected, zAmya performances are cited for their unexpected humor, authenticity, talented performers, and unique aesthetic blend of realism, satire, musical theater, and spoken word. Whatever the form, our material is grounded in truth. Performances are generally 75 minutes long and include post show conversation with performers. Shorter excerpts (15, 30, 45, 60 minutes) also available.
Several performances can be viewed on our YouTube page. You can also take a peek at our Ongoing Programs! Anything you see listed there is usually available for booking or can be adapted to meet a new request.
To discuss what’s available and what would best suit your needs, fill out the form above, or contact our Artistic Director, Maren Ward, at maren [at] zamyatheater [dot] org

Commission An Original zAmya Performance
Commission zAmya to create a full length play or short scene around a specific issue. For example, we created a 15 minute skit for Minnesota Housing Partnership that was designed to outline and promote the “Homes for All” legislative agenda.
