zAmya offers a three-part virtual series designed for companies and organizations that want to help their employees and teams grow in self-awareness, build their allyship capacity, and create connection, trust and belonging.
The workshops are co-led by those who have, or are, facing homelessness or housing instability and include a variety of activities comprised of story sharing, simple improvisations, small group discussions, personal reflection, and creative exercises.

This program is a series of three workshops that build upon each other and provide teams a courageous space to learn and grow together. The series explores different ways to see beyond our own perspectives and connect for more engagement, creativity and community.
Each workshop lasts 90 minutes.
The initial workshop, SEE, is also provided as a stand-alone session.
#1 SEE
See biases. See humans behind the biases. See possibilities for change.
In this foundational workshop, participants explore their current worldview on issues related to housing and homelessness. They will playfully and profoundly explore their perspectives as biases emerge and shift in a supportive and encouraging environment focused on the future. zAmya’s troupe members share their experiences to provide a courageous space for others to look at their judgments, their values and then enter the second workshop with more understanding and empathy for different experiences.
#2 CONNECT
Connect through storytelling. Connect through co-creation.
After building self- awareness in session one, participants now explore team/community building through play and story sharing. They draw on their ability to connect in a safe space through vulnerability, having fun, and reflective engagement. zAmya utilizes theater exercises and creative practices to build the bonds.
#3 BELONG
Belong through shared experience. Belong through shared agreements.
Now that participants are more aware of their perspectives and more empathy and connection to others’ perspectives, team members co-create a set of “agreements” for creating more belonging and inclusiveness in their team.
