Sneak Peek of Dis Place!

  • Corner Coffee Shop 514 North 3rd Street #102 Minneapolis United States (map)

LOW TICKET ALERT!

Join us November 22nd at the Corner Coffee Shop in North Loop to catch a sneak peak of Dis Place, zAmya’s newest production directed by Harry Waters Jr.

The North Loop is a unique neighborhood, home to both upscale condos and rentals and higher-income residents, and several organizations sheltering low income residents in need of housing. And yet, this neighborhood is ranked among the lowest (0.0%) of neighborhoods affected by poverty. Where are all the unhoused people utilizing the shelters? …And whatever happened to Bassett Creek, originally named Haha Wakpadan? Is history repeating itself? What possibilities lie between expellers and bydwellers? Between those who have and have not?

This show is part of a multi-year partnership with North Loop Neighborhood Association and Avivo Village that will result in a new play making its world premiere in March 2025. Enjoy a sneak peek while learning how to get involved, and discuss housing in the North Loop.

Online registration has sold out, but a handful of walk-up tickets will be available. See below for more info.
